Duct Replacement and Redesign in Springdale

Some duct systems cannot be patched into working. When the layout is the problem, the fix is a new design built around your house, not a new unit on the old runs.

Chapter 01

When one side of the house never matches the other

Uneven temperatures, weak airflow, a system that runs longer and delivers less: these are the signs of ductwork that is damaged or simply outdated. Sometimes the ducts are leaking past saving. More often the layout was never right. Branches that are too small for the rooms they feed, a trunk line that starves the far end, long runs that wear the blower down before the air arrives.

Nick Augustino lived with exactly that for years. In his Google review he calls it “a poorly designed and undersized system.” His back bedrooms ran “3 to 4 degrees hotter” than the rest of the house, which he put down to “the layout of my home with long duct runs and an overworked system.” Swapping the outdoor unit would not have touched any of that.

A new duct design instead of just replacing the unit

When Ryan Victory came out to Nick's house, Nick asked whether he could create “a new energy and duct design instead of just replacing the unit itself.” By Nick's account, Ryan was going to do it anyway. That is how the work is meant to go: the house gets diagnosed first, room by room, and the duct system is drawn to fit what the diagnosis finds. Nick wrote that he appreciated “the level of thoroughness in diagnosing my home and accounting for everything, even the amount of heat my indoor lights generate.”

In practice that means new trunk and branch runs sized for the rooms they serve, supply and return paths that make sense for the floor plan, and insulated duct in the attic where the old run was bare or buried. The crew works across Benton and Washington counties, and the free estimate on air ducting replacements comes with a flat price agreed before work begins, billed by the job instead of by the hour.

Chapter 03

What changes after the new ducts go in

The test is the bedroom that used to lag. Nick's rooms on the left side of his house, he wrote, are now “basically inline with my thermostat,” and his ecobee reports show the average cycle time is “much lower.” Those are his observations from his own thermostat, not a guarantee for every house, but they are the right things to watch: whether the far rooms catch up, and whether the system stops running flat out to get there.

The crew leaves the work area clean or cleaner than they found it. If you want to talk through your own house, the line at (479) 579-8860 is open 24 hours, and the company is licensed in Arkansas under HVACR #0004524. If the ducts only need sealing, not replacing, that is the honest answer you will get instead.
